The ocean, their are Plastics in the ocean and that is not good. Why is it not good? It is not good because it harms any and all aquatic species. Plastic when floating in the ocean can look like food to animals, for example a sea turtle’s diet consists of jellyfish and you may be wondering why it is important to know what a sea turtle eats, it important because it is documented that about 1,000 sea turtles die from consuming plastics annually and this is bad because they are endangered. You may be wondering what a sea turtles diet that consists of jellyfish has to do with plasic, well the reason I bring up jellyfish is because a specific kind of plastic look’s like jellyfish, what kind of plastic? Plastic bags, plastic bags when floating in the ocean look like jellyfish because of their shape. Another reason plastic is bad is because it is found everywhere and not just the ocean because plastics become very small plastics that are invisible and invisible and very small plastics are known as micro plastic and even you have micro plastics in you from what you consume especially water and micro plastics are not just found in the oceans but the lakes, streams, rivers, creeks their could be micro plastics in your cup of water. So I’m just going to say this: try to use re-useable items instead of plastic items.
